The moment I started with their kalamari, I knew I was in for a treat. The crispy, perfectly seasoned rings were so good, I had to order another plate. Then came the prawns tourkolimano—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I couldn’t quite put my finger on what made them so exceptional—maybe it was the fresh, local seafood that Vancouver is known for—but oh gosh, they were the best prawns I’ve ever had. Finally, the roasted lamb was something else. Even though it was imported from New Zealand, it melted in my mouth with each bite. On top of that, Johnny’s boasts a unique oven that churns out the most delicious Greek pizza that available for delivery all over Vancouver. It’s a must-visit spot that brings a little bit of Greece to the West Coast.

Coming in second place is Pantheon Restaurant in Toronto. Based on numerous reviews, this long-standing establishment in Greektown is beloved for its authentic Greek dishes and warm atmosphere. Their lamb chops are a standout, perfectly grilled and seasoned, served with a side of roasted potatoes that soak up all the delicious juices. The saganaki, a pan-fried cheese dish, is another favorite—flambéed at the table for a bit of flair and a lot of flavor. Don’t miss their grilled octopus, tender and charred to perfection, a true testament to the quality and care put into every dish.

Third place goes to Petros82 Restaurant, also in Toronto. This modern Greek restaurant is known not only for its beautiful design and atmosphere but also for its unique and flavorful dishes.
